Production Team
Meet the production team that spent countless hours and dedicated heart into the video and the message behind it.
Adam Mason
Director, Adam Mason
Adam Mason was born in Cambridge in 1975. He graduated from the London Film School, and immediately began his film career. In the years that followed, he directed and produced more than 110 music videos, as well as many award winning short films.
In 2004 he started production on Broken, a feature film made for less than 5000 pounds, that ultimately went on to find distribution through The Weinstein Company and won countless awards worldwide. That film got him spotted in Hollywood, and a few months later he was directing The Devil’s Chair, financed by Crystal Sky, which was officially selected for the Toronto Film Festival, won many festival awards and was distributed to great international acclaim through Sony. In the process of finishing The Devil’s Chair, he signed to CAA and moved to LA. He followed up the great success of The Devil’s Chair with Blood River, a psychological thriller he shot in an authentic abandoned ghost town in the middle of Death Valley. Blood River won many awards and cemented his reputation as one of the worlds ‘definitive genre directors’. In 2008 he directed a twenty part Dodge commercial for TNT. He continued to direct movies, while transitioning into feature writing for the major Hollywood studios.
In 2012 Joe Johnston (Captain America, Jumanji, Jurassic Park 3, Honey I Shrunk The Kids) directed Not Safe For Work for Universal Pictures, a script Adam wrote with his long-term writing partner Simon Boyes.

“I told them (teachers) and gave them what they wanted, regardless if I found it valuable. And even now it seems like I did it all to receive a diploma that no one has ever asked to see.”
After graduating from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Entrepreneurship he spent the next 10 years exploring different industries looking for his passion. After a bout with cancer he took over as Executive Director of Energize Students as he pursued his dream of becoming an Architect and Contractor. He now lives his passion every day, however that passion is not limited to architecture; he also works as an activist to reform the education system one student at a time; as a mentor helping high school students explore, design, and build their dreams.
He strives everyday to inspire people to join the Movement as we work to re-focus our Education System back where it belongs… on the students.
